Barangay Lual (Pob.)

Barangay Lual (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Mauban, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lual (Pob.) had a population of 1,052. This made it the 18th largest of 40 barangays in Mauban by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lual (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.48% of the total population of Mauban, which stood at 71,081 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,050 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,052 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.2%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Lual (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Mauban is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lual (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
