Barangay Lual Rural

Barangay Lual Rural is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Mauban, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lual Rural had a population of 4,585. This made it the 4th largest of 40 barangays in Mauban by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lual Rural accounted for approximately 6.45% of the total population of Mauban, which stood at 71,081 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lual Rural moving from 4,346 residents to 4,585 residents, an intercensal change of +5.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lual Rural as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
