Barangay Rosario

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Rosario is one of the administrative divisions of Mauban in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rosario had a population of 713. This made it the 21st largest of 40 barangays in Mauban by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Rosario changed from 938 to 713, a shift of -24.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Mauban. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Rosario as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mauban is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rosario, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
