Barangay San Jose

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay San Jose is one of the administrative divisions of Mercedes in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

This made it the 6th largest of 16 barangays in Mercedes by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose accounted for approximately 6.56% of the total population of Mercedes, which stood at 6,112 in the same census year.
