Barangay New Cebulan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay New Cebulan is one of the administrative divisions of Montevista in Davao De Oro, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay New Cebulan had a population of 966. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in Montevista by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay New Cebulan accounted for approximately 2.07% of the total population of Montevista, which stood at 46,558 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay New Cebulan changed from 882 to 966, a shift of +9.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Montevista. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay New Cebulan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Montevista is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay New Cebulan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
