Situated in Munai, Lanao Del Norte, Barangay North Cadulawan is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

This made it the 19th largest of 26 barangays in Munai by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,048 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 793 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -24.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay North Cadulawan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
