Barangay Cosocos

Barangay Cosocos is a very small barangay in the municipality of Nagbukel, located in the province of Ilocos Sur, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cosocos had a population of 217. This made it the 12th largest of 12 barangays in Nagbukel by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cosocos accounted for approximately 3.97% of the total population of Nagbukel, which stood at 5,465 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cosocos moving from 187 residents to 217 residents, an intercensal change of +16.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
