Barangay Magsaysay (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Magsaysay (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Naguilian in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Magsaysay (Pob.) had a population of 3,090. This made it the 1st largest of 25 barangays in Naguilian by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Magsaysay (Pob.) accounted for approximately 9.15% of the total population of Naguilian, which stood at 33,788 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,846 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,090 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Magsaysay (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Naguilian is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Magsaysay (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
