Barangay San Pablo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Pablo is one of the administrative divisions of Narvacan in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Pablo had a population of 1,144. This made it the 22nd largest of 34 barangays in Narvacan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Pablo accounted for approximately 2.47% of the total population of Narvacan, which stood at 46,234 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Pablo moving from 1,228 residents to 1,144 residents, an intercensal change of -6.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Pablo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Narvacan is a municipality comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Pablo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
