Barangay Sucoc

Barangay Sucoc is a small barangay in the municipality of Narvacan, located in the province of Ilocos Sur, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sucoc had a population of 1,559. This made it the 10th largest of 34 barangays in Narvacan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sucoc accounted for approximately 3.37% of the total population of Narvacan, which stood at 46,234 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sucoc moving from 1,517 residents to 1,559 residents, an intercensal change of +2.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Sucoc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
