Barangay Maugat

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Maugat is one of the administrative divisions of Nasugbu in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Maugat had a population of 1,380. This made it the 37th largest of 42 barangays in Nasugbu by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maugat accounted for approximately 1.01% of the total population of Nasugbu, which stood at 136,524 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maugat moving from 1,242 residents to 1,380 residents, an intercensal change of +11.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
