Barangay San Eugenio

Barangay San Eugenio is a small barangay in the municipality of Natividad, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Eugenio had a population of 1,672. This made it the 6th largest of 18 barangays in Natividad by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Eugenio accounted for approximately 6.49% of the total population of Natividad, which stood at 25,771 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Eugenio changed from 1,601 to 1,672, a shift of +4.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Natividad. Barangay San Eugenio is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Natividad is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Eugenio, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
