Barangay Concepcion

Situated in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro, Barangay Concepcion is one of 70 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Concepcion had a population of 923. This made it the 56th largest of 70 barangays in Naujan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Concepcion accounted for approximately 0.84% of the total population of Naujan, which stood at 109,587 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 879 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 923 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Concepcion is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Naujan is a municipality comprising 70 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Concepcion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
