Barangay Mahabang Parang

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mahabang Parang is one of the administrative divisions of Naujan in Oriental Mindoro, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mahabang Parang had a population of 1,882. This made it the 22nd largest of 70 barangays in Naujan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mahabang Parang accounted for approximately 1.72% of the total population of Naujan, which stood at 109,587 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mahabang Parang changed from 1,779 to 1,882, a shift of +5.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Naujan. Barangay Mahabang Parang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
