Barangay Panganapan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Panganapan is one of the administrative divisions of Nunungan in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Panganapan had a population of 629. This made it the 18th largest of 25 barangays in Nunungan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Panganapan accounted for approximately 3.34% of the total population of Nunungan, which stood at 18,827 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Panganapan moving from 590 residents to 629 residents, an intercensal change of +6.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Panganapan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
