Barangay Paridi

Situated in Nunungan, Lanao Del Norte, Barangay Paridi is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Paridi had a population of 732. This made it the 12th largest of 25 barangays in Nunungan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paridi accounted for approximately 3.89% of the total population of Nunungan, which stood at 18,827 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Paridi moving from 563 residents to 732 residents, an intercensal change of +30.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Paridi as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Nunungan is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paridi, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
