Barangay Tablon

Barangay Tablon forms part of Oas, a municipality in Albay, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tablon had a population of 831. This made it the 36th largest of 53 barangays in Oas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tablon accounted for approximately 1.26% of the total population of Oas, which stood at 66,084 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 940 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 831 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -11.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Tablon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Oas is a municipality comprising 53 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tablon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
