Barangay Gatbo

Situated in Ocampo, Camarines Sur, Barangay Gatbo is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gatbo had a population of 3,097. This made it the 4th largest of 25 barangays in Ocampo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gatbo accounted for approximately 6.06% of the total population of Ocampo, which stood at 51,073 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,659 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,097 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +16.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Gatbo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ocampo is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Gatbo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
