Barangay Masantol

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Masantol is one of the administrative divisions of Orani in Bataan, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Masantol had a population of 530. This made it the 27th largest of 29 barangays in Orani by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Masantol accounted for approximately 0.75% of the total population of Orani, which stood at 70,342 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Masantol changed from 690 to 530, a shift of -23.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Orani. Barangay Masantol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Orani is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Masantol, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
