Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.)

Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Orion, located in the province of Bataan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) had a population of 1,146. This made it the 20th largest of 23 barangays in Orion by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.89% of the total population of Orion, which stood at 60,771 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) changed from 1,309 to 1,146, a shift of -12.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Orion. Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Orion is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bagumbayan (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
