Barangay Napo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Napo is one of the administrative divisions of Palapag in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Napo had a population of 505. This made it the 26th largest of 32 barangays in Palapag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Napo accounted for approximately 1.48% of the total population of Palapag, which stood at 34,034 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Napo moving from 493 residents to 505 residents, an intercensal change of +2.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Napo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
