Barangay Pangpang

Barangay Pangpang forms part of Palapag, a municipality in Northern Samar, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pangpang had a population of 2,238. This made it the 3rd largest of 32 barangays in Palapag by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pangpang accounted for approximately 6.58% of the total population of Palapag, which stood at 34,034 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pangpang moving from 2,193 residents to 2,238 residents, an intercensal change of +2.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
