Barangay Sto. Niño

Barangay Sto. Niño forms part of Palauig, a municipality in Zambales, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sto. Niño had a population of 2,075. This made it the 6th largest of 19 barangays in Palauig by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sto. Niño accounted for approximately 5.22% of the total population of Palauig, which stood at 39,784 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sto. Niño moving from 1,739 residents to 2,075 residents, an intercensal change of +19.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
