Barangay Santo Rosario

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Santo Rosario is one of the administrative divisions of Pandan in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Rosario had a population of 1,681. This made it the 8th largest of 34 barangays in Pandan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Rosario accounted for approximately 4.67% of the total population of Pandan, which stood at 35,965 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,722 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,681 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Rosario as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pandan is a municipality comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Rosario, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
