Barangay Tingib

Situated in Pandan, Antique, Barangay Tingib is one of 34 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tingib had a population of 934. This made it the 18th largest of 34 barangays in Pandan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tingib accounted for approximately 2.60% of the total population of Pandan, which stood at 35,965 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 691 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 934 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +35.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Tingib is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
