Barangay Real de Cacarong

Barangay Real de Cacarong is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pandi, located in the province of Bulacan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Real de Cacarong had a population of 4,660. This made it the 11th largest of 22 barangays in Pandi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Real de Cacarong accounted for approximately 3.00% of the total population of Pandi, which stood at 155,115 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Real de Cacarong changed from 3,421 to 4,660, a shift of +36.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pandi. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Real de Cacarong as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pandi is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Real de Cacarong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
