Barangay Coral

Barangay Coral forms part of Paniqui, a municipality in Tarlac, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Coral had a population of 2,329. This made it the 20th largest of 35 barangays in Paniqui by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Coral accounted for approximately 2.26% of the total population of Paniqui, which stood at 103,003 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Coral changed from 2,298 to 2,329, a shift of +1.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Paniqui. Barangay Coral is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Paniqui is a municipality comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Coral, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
