Barangay Santa Ines

Barangay Santa Ines forms part of Paniqui, a municipality in Tarlac, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Ines had a population of 2,088. This made it the 24th largest of 35 barangays in Paniqui by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,711 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,088 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +22.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Ines as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Paniqui is a municipality comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Ines, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
