Barangay Milawid

Barangay Milawid forms part of Panukulan, a municipality in Quezon, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Milawid had a population of 830. This made it the 8th largest of 13 barangays in Panukulan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Milawid accounted for approximately 5.07% of the total population of Panukulan, which stood at 16,376 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 816 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 830 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.7%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Milawid as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Panukulan is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Milawid, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Milawid ranks 704th by 2020 population.
