Barangay Salbang (Pob.)

Barangay Salbang (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Paoay, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Salbang (Pob.) had a population of 714. This made it the 15th largest of 31 barangays in Paoay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salbang (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.86% of the total population of Paoay, which stood at 25,001 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Salbang (Pob.) moving from 689 residents to 714 residents, an intercensal change of +3.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
