Barangay Santo Rosario

Barangay Santo Rosario forms part of Paombong, a municipality in Bulacan, and is classified as a large barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Rosario had a population of 7,982. This made it the 2nd largest of 14 barangays in Paombong by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Rosario accounted for approximately 14.33% of the total population of Paombong, which stood at 55,696 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 7,171 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,982 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santo Rosario is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Paombong is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Rosario, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bulacan, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santo Rosario ranks 135th by 2020 population.
