Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki

Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki is a small barangay in the municipality of Paracale, located in the province of Camarines Norte, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki had a population of 1,880. This made it the 12th largest of 27 barangays in Paracale by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki accounted for approximately 3.12% of the total population of Paracale, which stood at 60,198 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,961 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,880 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.1%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Paracale is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Norte, which contains 282 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pinagbirayan Malaki ranks 132nd by 2020 population.
