Barangay Estancia

Barangay Estancia is a small barangay in the municipality of Pasuquin, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Estancia had a population of 1,117. This made it the 9th largest of 33 barangays in Pasuquin by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Estancia accounted for approximately 3.76% of the total population of Pasuquin, which stood at 29,678 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Estancia moving from 1,024 residents to 1,117 residents, an intercensal change of +9.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Estancia is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
