Barangay Rizal

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Rizal is one of the administrative divisions of Perez in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rizal had a population of 349. This made it the 12th largest of 14 barangays in Perez by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal accounted for approximately 2.73% of the total population of Perez, which stood at 12,767 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal moving from 230 residents to 349 residents, an intercensal change of +51.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Rizal is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Perez is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rizal, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
