Barangay Dolores

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Dolores is one of the administrative divisions of Pinabacdao in Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dolores had a population of 687. This made it the 13th largest of 24 barangays in Pinabacdao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dolores accounted for approximately 3.79% of the total population of Pinabacdao, which stood at 18,136 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dolores moving from 742 residents to 687 residents, an intercensal change of -7.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dolores as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pinabacdao is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dolores, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
