Barangay Poblacion Ubos

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Poblacion Ubos is one of the administrative divisions of Pintuyan in Southern Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion Ubos had a population of 559. This made it the 6th largest of 23 barangays in Pintuyan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Ubos accounted for approximately 5.48% of the total population of Pintuyan, which stood at 10,202 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion Ubos changed from 589 to 559, a shift of -5.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Pintuyan. Barangay Poblacion Ubos is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
