Barangay Deboloc

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Deboloc is one of the administrative divisions of Plaridel in Misamis Occidental, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Deboloc had a population of 587. This made it the 26th largest of 33 barangays in Plaridel by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Deboloc accounted for approximately 1.47% of the total population of Plaridel, which stood at 39,840 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Deboloc moving from 546 residents to 587 residents, an intercensal change of +7.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Deboloc as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Plaridel is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Deboloc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
