Situated in Polanco, Zamboanga Del Norte, Barangay De Venta Perla is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

This made it the 19th largest of 30 barangays in Polanco by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality.
