Barangay Canicanian

Barangay Canicanian is a small barangay in the municipality of Polillo, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Canicanian had a population of 960. This made it the 15th largest of 20 barangays in Polillo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Canicanian accounted for approximately 3.01% of the total population of Polillo, which stood at 31,908 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Canicanian moving from 950 residents to 960 residents, an intercensal change of +1.1%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
