Barangay San Martin

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Martin is one of the administrative divisions of Prosperidad in Agusan Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Martin had a population of 2,375. This made it the 13th largest of 32 barangays in Prosperidad by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Martin accounted for approximately 2.69% of the total population of Prosperidad, which stood at 88,321 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Martin moving from 2,379 residents to 2,375 residents, an intercensal change of -0.2%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Martin as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
