Barangay Caliat (Pob.)

Situated in Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya, Barangay Caliat (Pob.) is one of 12 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caliat (Pob.) had a population of 1,998. This made it the 4th largest of 12 barangays in Quezon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caliat (Pob.) accounted for approximately 8.31% of the total population of Quezon, which stood at 24,055 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Caliat (Pob.) changed from 1,875 to 1,998, a shift of +6.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Quezon. Barangay Caliat (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
