Barangay Caditaan

Situated in Ragay, Camarines Sur, Barangay Caditaan is one of 38 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caditaan had a population of 751. This made it the 32nd largest of 38 barangays in Ragay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caditaan accounted for approximately 1.26% of the total population of Ragay, which stood at 59,770 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 828 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 751 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -9.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Caditaan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ragay is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Caditaan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
