Barangay Cansalonoy

Situated in Ronda, Cebu, Barangay Cansalonoy is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cansalonoy had a population of 920. This made it the 11th largest of 14 barangays in Ronda by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cansalonoy accounted for approximately 4.38% of the total population of Ronda, which stood at 21,005 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cansalonoy changed from 846 to 920, a shift of +8.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Ronda. Barangay Cansalonoy is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ronda is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cansalonoy, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
