Barangay Macalamcam B

Barangay Macalamcam B is a small barangay in the municipality of Rosario, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Macalamcam B had a population of 1,646. This made it the 37th largest of 48 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Macalamcam B accounted for approximately 1.28% of the total population of Rosario, which stood at 128,352 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,765 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,646 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -6.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Macalamcam B as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
