Barangay Tulos forms part of Rosario, a municipality in Batangas, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

This made it the 20th largest of 48 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. The barangay recorded 2,355 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,540 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tulos as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
