Barangay Imelda

Barangay Imelda is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Samal, located in the province of Bataan, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Imelda had a population of 3,058. This made it the 6th largest of 14 barangays in Samal by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Imelda accounted for approximately 7.98% of the total population of Samal, which stood at 38,302 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Imelda moving from 2,665 residents to 3,058 residents, an intercensal change of +14.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
