Barangay Virgoneza

Barangay Virgoneza is a small barangay in the municipality of San Agustin, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Virgoneza had a population of 985. This made it the 11th largest of 23 barangays in San Agustin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Virgoneza accounted for approximately 4.46% of the total population of San Agustin, which stood at 22,096 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Virgoneza moving from 1,061 residents to 985 residents, an intercensal change of -7.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
