Barangay San Vicente

Situated in San Andres, Catanduanes, Barangay San Vicente is one of 38 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 189. This made it the 37th largest of 38 barangays in San Andres by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 0.49% of the total population of San Andres, which stood at 38,480 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Vicente changed from 188 to 189, a shift of +0.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in San Andres. Barangay San Vicente is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Andres is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Vicente, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
