Barangay Sapang Palay (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Sapang Palay (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of San Andres in Catanduanes, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sapang Palay (Pob.) had a population of 841. This made it the 19th largest of 38 barangays in San Andres by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sapang Palay (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.19% of the total population of San Andres, which stood at 38,480 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sapang Palay (Pob.) changed from 844 to 841, a shift of -0.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in San Andres. Barangay Sapang Palay (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
