Barangay Wagdas (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Wagdas (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of San Andres in Catanduanes, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Wagdas (Pob.) had a population of 667. This made it the 23rd largest of 38 barangays in San Andres by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Wagdas (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.73% of the total population of San Andres, which stood at 38,480 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 669 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 667 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.3%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Wagdas (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Andres is a municipality comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Wagdas (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Catanduanes, which contains 315 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Wagdas (Pob.) ranks 168th by 2020 population.
